Our green olives are cured without any chemicals such as lye which is normally used in processing green olives in order to shorten the curing process. After many many months we finaly bottle them so that you can enjoy these completely natural green olives
Organically grown, locally crafted, small batches of olives grown on Klein Nektar’s organic farm in Montagu. Brought to our attention by a Slow Food Club Member (who’s daughter is called Olive, so she knows what she’s on about), Klein Nektar practice organic and integrated pest management farming solutions, rather than relying on chemicals. We will be starting with their organic olive oil, organic olives, organic preserved lemons and organic garlic. I only bought a few of these so grab a jar while they last. I’ve eaten half a jar of green olives while writing this – they are really delicious and jarred in organic olive oil which is pretty decadent.
